Our Academies

In addition to the multi-activity recreation programme, the Academy options give students the opportunity to learn new skills and enjoy personalised tuition from qualified instructors.

In addition to the range of recreational activities our students enjoy at each of our schools, three of our schools also offer students the opportunity to learn new skills in our Afternoon Academies.

At all our schools students have three /four* afternoons per week of multi-activity sessions. At Epsom, St. John’s and Sevenoaks students also have the opportunity to focus on a specialised course with Epsom Arts Academies, St. John’s Tech Academies and Sevenoaks Sports Academies.

By choosing an Afternoon Academy course, students enjoy personalised tuition in their chosen skill from professional instructors and each course is externally validated.

Each Academy course consists of 3 afternoons per week of 2 or 3 hours per afternoon, depending on the Academy chosen. And Academy students still enjoy one/two* afternoons per week of multi-activity sessions!

Students can choose only ONE Academy course per week. They can choose a different Academy course for each week or take the same Academy each week to develop their skills.

A minimum A2 pre-intermediate level of English is required for all courses except Robotics / Mobile Apps / Coding, which require B1 intermediate level. Courses are subject to minimum numbers and an additional cost.

*Depending on whether they choose an optional excursion.

Chose from Performance Arts, Art and Design or Photography at our Epsom Art Academy, each externally verified and run by qualified instructors.

A range of sporting activities are available at our Sevenoaks centre - Horse Riding, Tennis and Golf.

Our Tech Create Academies offer a choice of three courses, led by instructors from the UKís premier technology education provider, FireTech Camp.
