With the Thames Valley Summer 2017 just around the corner, we can’t wait to welcome students in a few weeks’ time to one of our four residential centres; TVSS Epsom College, TVSS St. John’s Leatherhead, TVSS Rugby or TVSS Sevenoaks.
Of course, there will be plenty of time for the study of English, with lessons in the morning (and the afternoons for Rugby Intensive Trinity students) but there is also plenty of time for great activities and excursions out to explore England, in (we hope) the English summertime!
Each centre will offer a wide range of afternoon activities, both for students who love sports and students who enjoy being creative. Some examples of our summer school afternoon activities include:
Our summer school excursions have also proved a popular activity and are a great way to practise your new English language skills in a real-world context. London is, of course, on the destination list where you will visit world-famous museums such as The Science Museum and The British Museum, and have the chance to explore the wonders of Covent Garden and the shops of Oxford Street. But there is also a great mix of other national sites such as:
