For over 40 years, our courses have been among the most consistently popular in the country, with more than 60,000 students choosing to spend their summers with us. We work with only the most prestigious English boarding schools. Though they were founded hundreds of years ago, they’re as up-to-date as any in the country.
We have operated high quality residential summer school courses for overseas students for more than 40 years. Our British Council accredited courses run at beautiful and prestigious independent boarding schools and are the first choice for hundreds of students each summer as they join us to experience UK culture and gain valuable life experience while improving their English.
When you enrol on one of our popular summer school courses, you're signing up to a unique programme which will not only improve your English skills, but also provide a summer of fun and friendship whilst speaking English with your international course mates. You'll get to explore top tourist destinations, and learn about English life and culture during your time in Britain.
All our courses prepare students for the examination. The examination is entirely based on conversational ability and, from the word go, students will be carefully coached towards achieving the required level.
We're as selective about our teachers as we are about our schools. We insist on them being friendly, fun to work with and easy to relate to. They're all native English speakers and are expected to hold internationally recognised teaching qualifications - as required by the British Council. Usually, they're in their twenties or early thirties and will already have had teaching experience in language schools abroad.
