The friendly town of Leatherhead is home to St John’s School, a beautiful and traditional British boarding school. Every year, international students aged 8-14 & 14-17 join us here for our popular residential summer school courses.

Overview

Close to London

Based in the friendly, bustling town of Leatherhead, St John’s School is handily placed for your weekly half-day excursions into London. A 5-minute walk takes you to the station. A 45- minute journey takes you to the heart of the capital. A trip to the coast is just as easy - no more than an hour by road.

School Facilities

All your needs are met at St John’s School. It has outdoor playing fields, a 25 metre indoor swimming pool and a sports hall for basketball, volleyball and five-a-side football. Accommodation is first class with single, twin or 3-4 bedded rooms. English School Friends are on hand throughout the day too, helping with your conversational English.

A multi-million pound development has recently been completed. This incorporates a 370-seat theatre, two superbly equipped art studios plus a computer laboratory with some 70 industry-standard PCs.

Accomodation Details

Students joining us for our summer school courses stay in the St. John’s boarding houses, which offer accommodation in single, twin or 3-6 bedded rooms. All the boarding houses are located close to each other and to the main buildings of the school, and students are able to socialise and relax while they practice their English in the comfortable and attractive common rooms.
